Jan. 30 - National Assembly of France endorses NATO enlargement

On 29 January 2004, the Lower Chamber of the French Parliament - the National Assembly - approved the draft law on the ratification of NATO Accession Protocols of the 7 invited countries, including Latvia. The vote was unanimous.

The French Senate is expected to review the draft law on 5 February.
